Data we process
PALX processes data you provide through project requests, contact forms, Smart Chat, the client portal, file uploads, offers, contracts and invoices. This may include your name, contact details, company data, project information, messages, uploaded files, contract data and billing information.
Legal bases
Depending on the purpose, processing is based on steps prior to entering into a contract and contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (c), legitimate interests in secure and efficient operation and communication (f), or consent (a) where consent is required.
Hosting & technical delivery
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, requested resource and browser information may be processed. Processors are bound under Art. 28 GDPR where required.
Contact, Smart Chat & project requests
Chat and request content is stored so PALX can answer questions, assign enquiries and continue pre-contract communication. Smart FAQ uses answers maintained by PALX; Live Support messages are processed in the PALX Control Center.
Client portal, contracts & files
The client portal may provide project information, contracts, invoices, tasks and files. Uploaded files are stored for the relevant project and used for project delivery unless another legal basis applies.
Audience measurement
PALX currently records only basic page views without cookies and without a visitor identifier in Local Storage or Session Storage. This is used to improve the website technically and editorially. The current PALX version does not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking.
Retention
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for enquiries, contracts, project delivery, statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Data no longer required is deleted or restricted where necessary.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, data subjects may in particular have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
Security
PALX uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss and manipulation. Administrative access and client portals are technically separated and access may be logged where required for security and operation.
